Today Hana smashed her first ant. She has just started noticing bugs recently, and today was the day when she made the big step. I guess she saw me step on a big nasty any that was walking by, so when another one came over she stepped right on it and said "kill it". I'm not exactly sure where that part came from. We are all proud of her hunting prowess.

Hana presented herself to Mommy today packed up in her book bag.

Hana had a great time at Uncle's birthday BBQ. She especially enjoyed the roasted corn.

Today we went to the sand box for the fist time this spring. Hana had a great time with her shovel and pail. She didn't even mind that she got all messy. She also got to wear her sandals since it was 82 degrees today.
